 Mission Statement Established in May of 2010, CLF’s Mission has always been to press forward the issues of conservation and simultaneously supply our viewers with all their nature themed entertainment needs. We aim to provide only the very highest quality of wildlife related media, intellectual banter, product and customer service, and mindless happenstance to both local and visiting customers, at the best value currently possible: free. Our mission is to conserve the natural world while also attempting to hinder the most pressing threats that may serve to negatively affect the diversity of life in British Columbia, as well as the rest of the globe. The threat of overconsumption weighs heavy on the planet and, now more than ever, it is critical to limit your own personal consumption level. While we acknowledge the fact that civilization must grow technologically, we must also maintain the best possible environment for our surroundings both at a social, economic, and environmental level. As an organization that is closely linked to the biodiversity of the natural world, we strive to maintain the utmost respect for our environment and create programs to bring awareness to both the beauty of nature's majesty and to the current problems that affect it. Our vision is to save the planet; no longer can humankind idly go about their business while the natural world slowly crumbles under the stresses our species have laid upon it.
Capturing Lost Footsteps is, and always will be, a free enterprise devoid of any linkage to any corporate entity. Our roots are in family, and tradition, and good old fashioned conservative values. CLF is family owned and operated; two generations of naturalists work together to create a stunning natural experience unrivalled within the realm of "the internet". The natural world is what we strive to protect and we hope you feel the same way. We're good old fashioned folks that know what quality is, and it's not made out of plastic--no--it's made out of dedication.
