Ever so vigilant on her watch, the mighty crow lets nothing escape her attention.



Alas, this poor crow never achieved flight and his young life was cut short by a deadly fall. Mourn for the crow.

We have been graced by the presence of another delightful ground forager! All hail the Fox Sparrow!



What a delightful winged creature to spend a Sunday with! The fox sparrow combs the lakeshore for his lunch.



A delectable morsel of protein is devoured by our friend the squirrel while he stands ever so carefully on the fallen tree branch.

Today we find ourselves not in nature, but, inside a dwelling! The restless felines squabble for dominance.

Brilliant glistening hues grace this gentle mallard's physique bolstering his beauty and greatly increasing his chance of finding a mate on this pleasant spring morning.

Blessed are we to see these two specimens of Procyon lotor. The name raccoon is derived from the algonquin word arukan(he who scratches with his hand). Rejoice for fun nature facts!

The loud call of the Northern Flicker easily draws one's attention, but, did you know they rub ants against their feathers to kill parasites? Rejoice for the formic acid in ants!
